It’s what we all know and love. It’s what we grew up with. Film photos are our childhood. And I think about that a lot. I want my children to have that same experience one day. Sitting down, turning each page slowly (not scrolling on a screen), getting lost in moments that came long before them but somehow still feeling like they were there.

Analog continues to endure the test of time, and for good reason. I’ve always been drawn to film. There’s something so pure about it, so intentional. You get one frame, one chance — no instant review, no do-overs. Just a quiet trust in the moment as it unfolds.

Film carries a kind of honesty that’s hard to replicate. It’s imperfect in all the right ways —the grain, the softness, the subtle shifts in light. There's nothing forced, nothing is overdone. It's just what was there, exactly as it was.

There’s a sense of nostalgia woven into it, but I think it’s more than that. It feels raw. It feels real. Like a memory, preserved in its most natural form. And maybe that’s why I love it so much — because it doesn’t just document how something looked, it holds onto how it felt.
